Ours installations are site-specific, collaboratively-designed pieces that offer an opportunity to create something new. Made using basic materials, constructed in interesting ways, they are born from a collaborative exchange between us and you; maker and client.
Designed to exist in the space between the sculptural and functional, our installations are pieces of furniture that can merge the visually engaging atmosphere of a gallery or museum with that of your home or business.
Brick Reception
Cult Design, Abbotsford
Designed and installed on-site to compliment the industrial aesthetic of Cult’s new showroom. Brick Reception was made using over 5,000 brick pavers evenly spaced across fifteen layers, bound with hand-cut steel.
Broken Altar
Cult Design, Melbourne
A custom iteration of Broken Altar, installed at Cult Design’s Abbotsford showroom.
This wall-mounted sculpture was made from two large plaster plinths – fabricated to sit flush with the wall and painted to match – which enclose a pane of ‘broken’ mirror.

Interior Installations
Ours, Fitzroy
A multi-component installation at Ours’ former location in Fitzroy.
In the bathroom, a salvaged church window became a shower screen, fitted with back-lighting to create a truly spiritual bathing experience.
The exisiting steel corner basin and toilet were painted to match, and a concrete shower pan was repurposed in the kitchen as a sink. This very special basin was also custom-fit with a green tap in the centre of the piece.
In the shopfront, a custom cyclorama drips out across the floorboards.
